I worked my first scheduled day at work and since I am part time I have tomorrow off. I am glad because I am tired and my back hurts.
No word from the agent, still.
Tomorrow I will likely finish those two articles and send them to the magazine.
I will talk to you tomorrow.
Thanks for listening.

Still Working, and Working, and Writing
I'm still working on getting that article submitted. I have chosen to submit it and another I have written in the interim to Poets and Writers magazine. It would be cool to get them both published. That would be $1,000.00 in my pocket and just the most awesome thing ever. I'll keep you all posted.
I am still waiting to hear from the agent about my novel Brother's Keeper. I'll keep you all posted on that as well.
The most recent news is that my friend, Theresa, has inspired me to submit a poem to a contest. I think the selection happens some time around the end of June. Anyway, I am excited about that, too. If you want to read it, look me up on Poetry Nation on the web. The poem is called Woman.
Other than that and my new job at Safeway grocery store working in the deli there is always stuff going on.
If you have a mind for it, and you think they may be interested, please invite your friends to subscribe to my blog.
Thanks for listening.

He's Ready to Pitch
I tried to find a place to 'sell' my article about editing techniques, but can't even find a proper place to pitch it for submission. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Otherwise I will keep on searching.
I would like to sell it rather than just post it somewhere because I need the experience and status of having sold a piece to build up my portfolio as a writer in general, freelance writer, and freelance editor. Also, I could really use the extra funds.
Keep doing what only you can do because you are the only one who can do what only you can do, just make sure it is the best that you can possibly do.
Thanks for listening.

Long, Long Time
So, it has been a long, long since my last post. This is mainly because I keep forgetting I created this blog. So let me tell you what has transpired in the year and a half that i have been absent. Basically I started and finished a novel called Brother's Keeper. It is a historical fiction with a Christian theme. It is currently in the hands of an agent, which I am hoping will pick me up and get me published. I just finished the 5th week of a 4 to 8 week waiting period. We shall see how it develops. If it doesn't pan out, I will likely just indie it on Amazon. I am all set up to do that just in case. So wish me your best wishes and follow along as I keep you all informed in this blog of all that's happening with me. I will try to be diligent to keep everyone up to date with more frequent posts.

Broke through the writer's block wall
I had a breakthrough of sorts yesterday. It has been a while since I was able to write any new scenes in any one of the seven projects I am writing. My 'Epic' fiction project "The Unspoken" saw a lot of thorough edits until last night. I sat down to do just a start of a chapter and bam, there it was my protagonist was telling how he met up with what is (though he doesn't know it yet) to become his best friends who he will not only rescue from the unspoken but will lead into the legends of history with the infiltration of the Castle and killing of the evil Overlord. It's rather odd, though, that one of them has a knife to his throat.

My Published Work and What I am Currently Working On
Check out my pages (over there -->) for information about my published book The Triadon Prophecy or post a review/question/comment about the book. You may also find information about other projects/books I am working on. I have a lot of irons in the fire and one never knows, one might be the next Excalibur waiting for you to give it a lift.

Awesome -- I've Started a Blog
First blog excitement is running wild through my mind. What do I say? How far will this take me? I'm not sure what to do, but here I am. I'm doing it.
